About Us

Albion Drilling Group Ltd was established in 1986 and has grown in the intervening period to become one of the UK’s largest independent drilling and ground engineering contractors. From our head office in Stirling and our regional office in Uckfield we operate contracts throughout the UK and Ireland and have successfully completed over 5,000 projects during this period. On an international front, we have also carried out contracts in Malawi, Georgia, France, Qatar, The Falklands and New Caledonia.

With over 35 years operating in the drilling industry Albion Drilling Group have a huge range of experience and expertise and can offer advice and design input to your project from the earliest stage of development to ensure you find the most appropriate and cost effective solution to your needs.

We are committed to continuous improvement and have a fleet of over 40 drilling rigs ranging from mini rigs which can pass through doorways to 25 tonne production drilling rigs. We also have a range of ancillary plant for grouting, installation, stressing and testing. Our workforce, who are all directly employed, have vast experience allied to a can-do attitude which ensures that our contracts are completed on time and within budget. All our personnel have continual training and are certified to NVQ standard.
